The Watershed Center for Environmental Advocacy, Science, and Education serves as the central hub of all Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association activities. Certified LEED Platinum from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, this new facility demonstrates responsible technologies as it provides classrooms, exhibit halls, a laboratory, computer learning center, conference rooms, gift shop, kitchen, and updated staff offices. It replaced the Buttinger Nature Center in December 2014.
